job(1998)This one is pretty simple. I was reading Job and I thought the verses had the makings of a good song. The verses are taken right from scripture. I was amazed by the faith that Job had in the Lord even when it seemed that God had left him. He was attacked from every angle. His children dead, his livestock gone, his health taken. His friends advised him to give up, his wife also. But he put his hope in the Lord. It just reminded me that there will be times when stuff just falls apart and I don’t get how it could possibly be good for me, but God is seeing all this from a view of the woman and servant He wants me to be. So I am thankful for the hard times, I don’t like them but I am thankful.
